From what started as mixing drum and bass over eight years ago, three lads from cambridge (Ed Maddams, Wil Maddams & Mike Hartley) have made progress in electronic music, to say the least.

Mike and Will formed together to produce and dj under the name Remote People originally mixing minimal,tech house and the slower end of Techno after a trip to Ibiza left them obsessed with the sound.

After producing liquid drum and bass Eds style changed to reflect the French Electro sound, which came out in his early productions such as MAW! pt2.

Where music tastes changed over the years, the lads have found there favoured style house and disco .

Although Ed produces separately the lads still join forces to bring you free disco edits.

Three years on Remote Records was born, in early 2010 the lads decided to set the label up originally to put there own tracks out on but Since Then through websites such as soundcloud, they have gained a decent amount of support and picked up a fresh signing from Berlin d o m and a remix from Cambridge's lejockey

With dj sets at egg club and Ministry of Sound and a podcast available now on iTunes, things can only move forward for them.
