maxi discs

Maxi Discs represents the Disco House label based in London, UK, founded by Pete Herbert and Dicky Trisco in 2009.

*** Dicky Trisco has been lost in music for some time now...running labels, producing records that make people dance and then playing them out at parties all over the globe. He is seriously addicted to the way music connects people and makes better days. His principal musical loves are disco, electrofunk, funk, dub, electro, house music with feeling and a lot of other stuff which makes a good noise.

More recently he has also been involved in setting up a new imprint called Maxi Discs with his good friend Pete Herbert and the launching of an imprint called BC to release Boogie Corporation’s (2020 Vision) own material.

*** One time proprietor of the infamous Atlas Records shop in Soho, London over a decade ago, Pete divides his time these days either behind the wheels of steel at clubs and parties around the globe or in the studio working solo or on various musical projects...

For Eskimo Recordings in Belgium Pete has released as Reverso 68 with the balearic time lord himself Phil Mison releasing recent classics such as Tokyo Disko, Especial and Piece Together as well as remixing the likes of Juan Maclean, Grace Jones, Ajello, Tosca, Bent and Badly Drawn Boy amongst others as well as both recording under Frontera for Music For Dreams in Denmark.

These last few years Pete has also teamed up with Tim Paris of Its a Fine Line to record as Challenge, as well as with Dicky Trisco, releasing for his DISCO DEVIANCE label and for their co-run label MAXI DISCS.

Maxi Discs is specifically influenced in releasing Tropical House with releases by Marius Vaareid, Ray Mang, Ajello and Pete and Dicky Trisco themselves.
