Flux Recorgings represents the Techno label started in 2002 by Atomic Jam residient DJ Chris Finke & Andi Hawes. The UK techno Label has been releasing over the years across the board music and rereleaing older classics with remixes.
Raised on a steady diet of rave, house and techno, Chris Finkes early days saw him compete in the UK DMC championships, and he soon combined his turntablism and love for techno when he started the Flux parties and record label. From there, he hooked up with Ben Sims to form Split, a series of game changing parties for the London techno scene, selling out Turnmills, SE1, The Key, plus European tour dates as they went. In addition, their 4 year long Split Radio Show was a true techno institution - syndicated worldwide on both FM and internet stations enjoying a massive, loyal following of listeners tuning in each month.
Initially set up in 2002 as an offshoot from their London based parties, Flux has released material from a variety of big name producers and undiscovered talent, charting the moods and feels of the worlds techno dancefloors since they began.
From the tribal beginnings of the first 3 releases, through to the floor rocking big-room tunes of today, Flux has always pushed the boundaries of the genre and won fans the world over.
Flux has welcomed big names like as Joey Beltram, Paul Woolford, Mark Broom, Deetron, and Ben Sims, whilst helping to launch fresh new talent onto the world such as Darko Esser and Max Cooper.
With some huge releases coming up, and also a digital only offshoot, Flux will continue to push the envelope and high quality dancefloor techno for a long time to come.
