Amenti Music represents Olivier Desmet's SF based label, a deep house music label from San Francisco.

Born in Brussels, Belgium, Olivier Desmet now resides in San Francisco. He is owner of the powerhouse, Primal Records, online record store, and label boss of Amenti Music, both based in the Bay Area.

Previously, he managed Moulton Studios Recordings, and Multitracked Recordings, also in SF. Desmet also worked as the A&R and promotions manager for famed Chicago label, Afterhours. There he signed a long list of club hits including, Jay-J's, 'Smoke It Up', Chris Lum's, 'Hurting Me', and Mettle Music's, 'Bluesong'.

Olivier has produced and remixed records for respected labels such as Aroma Records (including the underground favorite "A Dedication" by Oh Dee), Simple Soul Recordings ("Just Like Heaven"), Distance, Square Room Records, and his own imprint Amenti Music.

A twelve-year veteran behind the decks. He has appeared at events at the legendary Playbar,in San Francisco,'FOOD' club in Brussels, Mad Bar in Chicago, Blue in Miami, and is a resident of the now infamous "AA Meeting" party at Miami's Winter Music Conference.

Amenti Music has been at the forefront of the deep house movement for the past ten years, and, over the course of 50+ vinyl and digital releases, has featured a long list of house luminaries including Mood II Swing, Charles Webster, Fred Everything, JT Donaldson, LawnChair Generals, Giom, Inland Knights, Joshua IZ, and many others.

Amenti is spearheaded by Olivier Desmet, a San Francisco transplant originally from Belgium. In 2008, Amenti teamed up with the celebrated Om Records label to release “San Francisco Sessions Vol 6” – a double CD release consisting entirely of Amenti Music tracks. In December of 2010, Amenti launched its first ever full-length compilation series entitled “Destination”.
