Polysom Brazil vinyl LP repress import, released in 1977. A sweet set of 70s fusion tracks from Brazilian keyboardist Antonio Adolfo! 180gr
A sweet set of 70s fusion tracks from Brazilian keyboardist Antonio Adolfo! Adolfo's probably best known for his mad work for EMI/Odeon at the start of the 70s, but by this point in the decade, he'd mellowed out a bit, and was focusing on more serious jazz-based recordings – most of which were issued only briefly on the tiny label Artezanal. This rare session features Adolfo on moog, Hammond, and Arp – working with a group that includes Marcio Montarroyos on trumpet, Danilo Caymmi on flute, and some guest vocals by Joyce on one track! The overall sound is electric, but not cloyingly so – a mix of breezy, jazzy, and funky styles that really fit together superbly. Titles include "Chickote", "Venice", "Acalanto", "Feito Em Casa", "Ve", "Virry", "Variacoes", "Beijinho", "Dia De Paz", and "As Luzes Estao Brilhando".
