| Originally starting in 2006, Turned On Trax is the creation of DJ, Producer and Promoter Dj VIVID. Turned On is an established Event promoting group based in Tokyo throwing monthly events at some of the hottest clubs in town, specializing in bringing international Djs / Producers to Japan, including HATIRAS, Princess Superstar, Steve Smooth, Coelette and many more.
At our core musically, we focus on Electro and House, but we are known to delve into the Progressive, Tech and Fidget arenas as well. Turned On Trax's had it's first release in 2008 with a mix compilation that was distributed in Japan's record stores. Following the success of our first release we produced another eclectic mix of house, in which was later released in early 2009. Digitally, our first distributors were Junodownload and Beatsdigital with the first release making it's debut in September 2009. This was then followed by a stream of hot singles. Further releases have been lined up including an upcoming EP from Dj Vivid, singles from various artist including Oddity, IGODA, Disco Science and remixes by various prolific producers based in Japan and Asia.
