Music has always been an integral part of Yossi’s life. At home from an early age it’s always been about music. His father was a trumpet player and his older brother is a classic piano player and a composer. At the age of seven he started to play on the drums, he played mostly rock music to start with and this gave him another take on the music world.
Yossi first got in to electronic music when he was about 15 years old. This was after hearing the sounds of Carl Craig and The Orb – it blew him away. It was a desire to share his passion for music with other people that got him in to djing. He has never dreamt of being a big “DJ” or someone that everybody knows, he just liked to do his own thing and share his passion with people.
In 2004 he moved to London and open his own record labels, Sushitech / Pariter. His goal for the labels is to release music that he loves, and have a true desire for, with himself and the other artists that share the same vision. Since then he had the chance to work with lots of artists and release music from the likes of Carl Craig and Baby Ford to name a few, and try to push this music he’s into forward and to develop his personal vision about this music world he’s living in.
Sushitech is the home platform for a variety of artists such as: One Token Left, Mikael Stavostrand, Anonym, Steve O’Sullivan, Ralph Sliwinski, Delano Smith, Makam, Franco Cangelli, Leonel Castillo, Norm Talley, Mike Huckaby, amongst several others.
Yossi is currently living in Berlin and djing all around Europe in clubs such as Panorama Bar, Fabric, Watergate, Harry Klein, Tresor, Rex etc, working in the studio and trying to plough his thoughts and feelings in to the music. He’s also working with friends, Sushitech artists who are helping him to find another side of himself.
