Label special records

Special Records was founded in 2007 by Scotland-based DJ & producer Special Ed, a founding member of the PANGEA drum & bass crew. The label's debut release was an EP by 5 piece punk / drum & bass crossover band Cot Death, entitled "Digital Cacophony of Global Decay", in summer 2007.

Big things have been going on in 2009, with the release of The Infekted's "Dot SK" and Soundphreaker's "Just [Infekted Rmx]", both of which have been smashing dancefloors internationally for some time now.

With a full LP release from Slovakia's Soundphreakers and several more releases from Scottish-based artists on the schedule for this year, Special Records is going to be right in the middle of things for some time to come!
