Born in 2002 as a club project in Torino, Krakatoa has recently started to give room to its creators -Samuel and Pisti- creating the will to make studio productions more regularly.
That’s how in 2007 Krakatoa also became a record label, giving birth to the first floor fillers by the duo, “K1” and “K2”, a story of love and hate between techno and house music synthesized in two killer tracks hung on obscure minimalism and hypnotic percussions.
2008 has started with new productions: new tracks “K3” and “K4”, which have already generated a big hype and entered the record boxes of many top international and Italian dj’s; and a double remix release of “K1” and “K3” by French dj/producer Arnaud Le Texier (Safari Electronique) and Phil Weeks (Robsoul), out in the November of the same year. For the upcoming release KRAKATOA is glad to announce Franco Cazzola remixed by Phil Weeks and Pisti remixed by Orlando Voorn.
Also, as a support to the Krakatoa label, new imprint DanzaiKaki will give room and visibility to a whole generation of young producers from Turin.
