| Ipoly Music is a new imprint A&R'ed by Alec Troniq and Mentalic, managed by Cometomusic. Here these two travellers have found their own place of creativity and reveries, disentangled from the rusty enforcements, which hobble any artistic disposition.
In times of endless dancemusic floods we decided to emphasize some points, which have been waived by the scene: Music is emotion – and emotion has to be real! In our belief authenticity is not to convey with pure functionality. Also we see authenticity as the opposite of all the media, that is penetrating us with exaggerated, fanfared razzmatazz.
So what does IPOLY actually mean? In fact: “I am poly” - it stands for the wide variety range of our artists. But it also signifies the two things, our work is all about – body and mind, united on the dancefloor. A rhythmic freak out and a melodic strength, bound in a story we like to tell. |
