Hypnotic Room was founded by Sydney’s influential DJ Hi-Shock in April 2005 as a venturesome sub-label of Elektrax Recordings.

In the short time since, it’s scored releases and remixes from essential artists like Takashi Watanabe, Si Begg, Orange Society, Miruga, Dich, Hideo Saito, Dave Tarrida, Yorgos Pontsaris, Tobias Schmidt, Zen Paradox, Ginza Spy, Deep Night, Little Nobody, Toshiyuki Yasuda, Paul Birken, Schlock Tactile, Craig McWhinney, Captain Funk, Elektronauts and DJ Hi-Shock himself - all of whom have been spotted in the charts and playlists of top DJs round the world.
