The thuringian label ?Empous Records? founded in 2009 by the charismatic John Poll, the label is dedicated to releasing a high quality of electronic music.
Although John label in live has shouted, he envisages Empous more as a collective of like-minded artists and Djs, whom also happen to be close friends. This family based attitude is central to Empou's sound aesthetic.
The label aims is to invigorate the minimal deep house genre with stripped back grooves, bass laden funk and quirky electronics.
