The label was founded in 2006 by Nico Parisi, a Belgian trance progressive veteran of the Music Industry, with more than a decade of experience behind him in both DJing and production of his chosen genre. What started life as an outlet to release his own productions, soon rocketed somewhat, as for the first release, Nico teamed up with fellow Belgian producer Erik Hubo (of ?Timesliders?) to work on a production. The result of this was the labels? debut release ?Metro?. This went on to be a continental smash with DJs around the globe championing the release. With support from important and credible DJs worldwide such as Armin Van Buuren (who made the track a Tune of the week on his A State of Trance radio show and played it on his Radio 1 Essential Mix in the UK), this was a surprise success for Nico and the track rapidly sold hundreds of copies. The main ethos of the label is to release quality progressive trance, but Nico states that other styles such as minimal,house and progressive are also scheduled to be released. Danza Records is a fledging label from Belgium which insists on delivering high quality progressive,trance,minimal,house material to a wide selection of DJs. All tracks so far have received strong DJ support, radio play and press reviews, proving that Danza are concentrating on releasing only few records, but each one is of a consistent high quality
