AUTIST. records is an independent German techno label based in Berlin.
Founded in 1998 by DJ and producer Ferri Borbás (M_Ferri) the label persists in its pursuit of explosive and innovative dancefloor music ranging from minimal to tech house. Its mission from the start has been to discover and nurture emerging producer personalities, and the label has received top recognition as being among the vanguard of innovative and explosive dancefloor music forces.
Key artists include ANNA aka Boris Brejcha, Niko Schwind, Chatterbox aka Christopher Manik and M_Ferri.
While the main focus is on its core producers, AUTIST also believes in the creative fruits reaped by exchange and collaborations, which bring together AUTIST resident artists with fresh new blood working in techno, minimal techno and tech house. Collaborators include Luciano, Guy Gerber, Danton Eeprom, Stimming, Sweet N Candy, Afrilounge, Andre Crom and more.
This spirit is taken a step further with the launch of a new sublabel: FRANZ FRANZ is a concept label dedicated to introducing new producers to the electronic dancefloor while challenging them to work conceptually with their artistic output.
Since 2009, AUTIST has returned to its oldschool roots with a limited edition artist vinyl series to highlight its top producers. |
