| Sabretooth Records was set up in 2005 by Ben Fraser as an outlet for his unique blend of all things deep, dark and driving. The label?s aim is to provide uncompromising underground dance music, with an emphasis on production values. The sound varies from full-on psy to acid trance to pounding techno, through NRG and drum?n?bass.
Many digital EPs have been released to date on the label, featuring mainly Ben Fraser?s own distinctive work, but also introducing such names as CrazyTeck (Canada), Skin Phillips (UK), Distorted Robocops (Russia) and Flawless (UK).
The label has recently released the eponymous Sabretooth and Sabretooth 2 albums on CD. The albums are a showcase of Ben?s seamless production skills applied to the full-on psy trance sound: his trademark driving basslines, hypnotic grooves, uplifting melodies and, of course, blistering acid lines! |
