In a time and era when being a DJ is probably one of the coolest jobs one can have, Greenhorn; a new record label is giving young talents a platform to join the cool, hip and ever growing Electronic club scene. Andrea Engels (owner of Blufin and Yellow Tail) alongside Berlin DJ of 20 years; Namito, put together their years of experience and contacts to create this label; a launching pad for young talents to help them establish themselves in the Electronic club music scene, not as 'one hit wonders' but as long lasting artists. Namito's homeland; Iran is home to many talented underground artists which have been silenced by the Islamic Regime, Greenhorn wants to give a chance to those artists to release their work and share it with a world beyond their borders. Greenhorn hopes that this will motivate young Iranians to be more creative. |
