Emote Music, a Colorado-based record label run by Jacob Todd and John Templeton, strives to promote forward-thinking dance music utilizing resources and talent from across the globe.
Founded in 2006, Emote began by releasing progressive house music. Today, Emote is focused on promoting unique minimal and techno music that works on modern dance floors, back rooms, and mp3 players.
Emote believes that Colorado is at the forefront of a burgeoning techno movement in the United States.
By creating an outlet for these artists and producers to collaborate and learn from each other, Emote hopes to share this movement with the rest of the world. The word Emote means "to show emotion" which is the intent of each release.
