Compuphonic is an independent music label created in 2005, is located in Paris, France, and is run by Kris Menace.
Kris Menace, by his real name Christophe Hoeffel, a german DJ, producer and remixer, formed "Compuphonic" to have a playground for his own Productions. The track 'Jupiter' became one of the most downloaded tracks in 2006 on the Electronic Music Download Platform "Beatport".
Kris Menace is one of the most respected producers in electronic music and maybe one of the busiest remixers alive, working for Depeche Mode, LCD Soundsystem, Air, Booka Shade, Kylie Minogue just to name a few. Kris releases like Discopolis or side projects like Black Van, became industry highlights and have been signed to some of the most influencial labels like dfa, permanent vacation, Vulture, Size and others.
Compuphonic serves as the home platform for artists like: Kris Menace, Love On Laserdisc, Fred Falke, Spooky, Tracid, Kiki Twins, miss kittin, Kowesix, Robert Owens.
