Both, the numerous interpretations of the term HOUSE and the fact that the differences between House and other genres of electronic music have become blurred over the past years, were the starting point for Johnny Lamar’s label Deep Pulp. Eyes and ears wide open, he does not confine his label to just one single style among the almost countless trends. Instead, he prefers that his artists – who come from rather different corners of the Rhein-Neckar-Area – realise their individual understanding of House. Here, any dogmatic and small minded opinions with respect to taste in music, production methods, etc. are definitely out of place and so is pseudo-hippness. The only things that count are the very groove, the heart and the soul of the final music production: Timeless and not short-lived. |
