This dutch label has been heavily influenced by the free parties in the early 90s. Accu Records aims to release music that moves more than just your feet and focuses on real live electronic music. It also happens to be loud .. "no compromises loud" ! The label has been releasing vinyl since 2007 and is now finally ready to enter the digital domain. Too many bad quality mp3 rips are floating around and its time to unleash the power of analog and let it go where no vinyl can go. The first Accu releases were all housed in colourful sleeves, providing a platform for graphic artists to do their thing. The label has tried various mastering studios and cutting rooms, and nonetheless still decides to every now and then put out something that was recorded way back on cassette tape, hey, if the feel is right .... Musicwise it's mainly hard loud pounding acidcore with tekno - gabba influences. As a good friend once said, music from the heart ! |
