22 digit records
22 digit records:
22 Digit Records is based in Newcastle (North-East of England) and was originally set up in 2008 by DJ and Producer William Reed to release uncompromising underground House and Techno. Since setting up the Label up Jon Hill who formally worked at the infamous Global Underground records has come on board as a Partner and Joint label manager of 22 Digit.
The label has seen many changes over the last few years and has received support from DJ’s including Laurent Garnier, Nick Fanciulli, Slam, Tom Budden, X-Press 2, Dave Seaman, Timo Mass and Eric Prydz to name but a few. 22 Digit Records continues to work closely with flagship artists Micheal Mclardy, Alan Svartr, Ricardo Jefferson, Ludowick, Very Jon, Graham Laverty and Pete Weasel who we consider to be future talents who consistently amaze us with their stunningly written productions and beautiful arrangements.
2010 saw the addition of the newest member of the 22 Digit management team “Pete Bartram” who as well as being the current Shindig VJ, is a great up and coming producer and has a background in music management and promotion.
2011 promises to be another big year for 22 Digit after starting the year with a bang with their first release of the New Year - Ludowick’s ‘Monoplastic’ getting an 8/10 review in DJmag (Spain) as well as receiving solid radio support across Europe.
With a solid release schedule in place 2011 will doubtlessly put 22 Digit on the map as a solid contender in the UK’s ever-growing house and techno scene.
