Good Guy Mikesh is well known for his track “Milk & Honey” which was on the Fabric 51
by DJ T. and formerly released by Liebe*Detail Spezial.
With the single „Spare“, Good Guy Mikesh proves his talent for contemporary Club- and
Popmusic. A rough and sometimes dark baseline layer underlines the magnificent detuned
vocals. „Spare“ is a song that can enchant us listeners either in the club context or at home.
Remixes come in courtesy of Christian Löffler, Axel Boman, Marbert Rocel and Mano Le
Tough.
Christian Löffler gives the original his trademark sound and makes it a melancholic piece of
deep techno.
Axel Boman is going straight to the floor with his Remix of “Spare”. Adding clubsuited
sounds and clicks this makes it a deep house version of the original for the DJ’s to play out
loud.
Marbert Rocels version of “Spare” is a playful one, the disco elements and the added sax line
gives the track its distinctive sound of Marbert Rocel.
Mano Le Tough adds a few synth-lines to the original and makes it good for both: homelistening
and club.
