Tom Wegert was born in 1980 and raised in Munich Germany. Born into a family with parents which are Boogie-Worldcup-Dancers and a father who was a famous DJ in the past, too - Tom was predestinated to get some musician talents.
In the age of 11 he found a guitar in a garbage container and tried to learn it immediately.
In the following years he learned to play the bass guitar, the drums and some keys on the
piano in his own founded school band as well.
In addition to that he danced over 7 years in a street dance-crew called ?South Point
Family?. In the age of 15 he was so impressed by the DJ-work he saw on a big dance-contest at the
well-known Terminal Riem in Munich. These guys made the party ? made the whole crowd
groove ? made them completely insane. That was awesome. Then Tom knew: That could be his personal destination. He learned to handle two Technics 1210?s and a Vestax-Mixer and started to spin records on private house parties and dance competitions for break dancers in Munich too.
After some years his style was especially influenced by break dance-classics like Newcleus?
?Jam on it?, famous acid house tracks like Josh Wink?s ?Hypnotized? and funky vibes like
from ?Jamiroquai?. More than 10 years of djing and producing later - his style developed to deep- and tech house at its best. Groovy bass lines and shaking hips on the dance floor. Perfect!
