Red Sunrise was born in France on April 8th 1988, he started to play the piano, his first instrument, at a very young age.
Jean Michel Jarre inspired him, as he was influenced by technology and instrument synthesis, with synthetisers (such as KAWAI K3). At this time, he was already listening to minimal and Techno compilations.
Years have gone by, but his interest for music has never stopped growing / has kept on growing :
In 1997, he became a fan of Daft Punk, Pills and some others who also inspired him.
In 2001, he saved money for a Yamaha keyboard (DJX2) and got used to the pattern and sample systems, so as to create his own tracks.
A few years later, in 2006, he takes a keen interest in the DJing world to mix his own first selections. At this time, he had already played in bars and clubs of the area.
In 2007, he worked on the "Ableton Live" to coin his first Techno/Minimal/Progressive tracks.
In 2008, he meets Commuter, an artist from Brittany, who had already signed with labels and released vynil records. One thing to bear in mind is that Red Sunrise became mad keen on MAO music thanks to him.
He resorts to Akai APC 20, Korg Nano Control, Korg R3 and Akai MPK 49 controllers and the help of Ableton Live to implement his Techno/Minimal/Progressive productions.
He afterwards meets other artists coming from Brittany (Nikkolas Research and Kettler), whom he works currently with.
In 2010, he releases his first EP "Harmoniac/Hypnotik" at Junky Robot Records Label.
In 2011, he remixes for Nikkolas Research, the track is called "D.Frost" and it has been playlisted by Roger Sanchez, John Digweed and many others ...
The same year, he releases a second EP named "Renaissance" (Rebirth in English), still with Junky Robot Records, featuring two remixes (Noisebuilder by Hereitk Systèle and Unitech). He is part of the compilation "Missing Sound" by the Columbian label Minimized Records, with his track "?Posictivia".
He is still working with Nikkolas Research and Kelter for the tracks to come.
