Malloc Baldwin, aka Andrew Best, began his career as a rock producer and bassist in Seattle. He recorded many respected Seattle bands including The Dandelion Method and Biltus. He produced Johnny Bertram's first EP and album released on the Esperanza Plantation label. His electronic side projects include DJ Golytely and the synth-pop band SYNTHAR. In 2010, Andrew shifted his energy to focus solely on Malloc Baldwin and his new label Activation Records. 2011 began with Malloc Baldwin's first full length release Bounce To Tracks followed by the Waves EP later that year. Malloc Baldwin fuses Progressive House, Electro House, Dubstep, and Chiptune into a genre bending blend of infectious beats. |
