When did you have the first contact with electronic music?
I had the first contact with electronic music in the mid 90ies and fell in love with it immediately.
The first sound carrier you bought:
The first sound carrier I bought was an audio cassette of U96 ?Das Boot?. When the audio cassettes were replaced by CDs, pretty soon CDs of Marusha, Westbam, Daft Punk and the Members of Mayday filled my shelves.
Who are your role models and heroes?
At the moment I prefer to listen to the internet radio channel M2-Radio from France. There, you can listen to many different electro artists. This kind of music is an huge inspiration to me as well as the guys of Daft Punk, Extrawelt and Electrixx.
Please describe your music with the help of some adjectives:
That is a good question. An artist does not find too often the right words to paraphrase his own work. For me it is important, that my music creates a balance between harmony and pushing elements.
The keyword Minimal?. Blessing or Curse?
In my opinion Minimal is a temporary phenomenon which is also hard to define. The opinions differ here in respect of where minimal starts and where it ends. I think that the minimal scene was established when due to the technical improvement of home PCs more and more people had the possibility to make music. I find that Minimal is part of today?s music and I can not imagine it without.

Berlin: Polar TV, Pulp Mansion, Sky-Club, Steinhaus and several other clubs
Your motto:
Live is Live
What does it mean to you to play a live act:
It means to find my centre and create a symbiosis with the sound. Like my motto already says, everything within my sets is LIVE and it is a lot of fun to actually be the music for a certain time!!!
Your signature feature:
My signature feature is a balanced performance on the stage, and songs which are a small world. To this Synth, Snares and Hihats are added which just force to dance.
What have been the highlights in your career as an artist so far?
The highlight in my career have been the gigs at FADE IN and the after show party in the club ?Gotec? in Karlsruhe. |
