Darren Porter is one of the fast upcoming producing talents in the UK, currently residing in Germany, but originally from Sunderland, England. He has been dedicated to trance music since the first time he heard a trance track. Darren commited himself to producing, learning to play piano and guitar by himself, creating a new and unique style for improvsing. Darren took his composition skills to the silver screen first, scoring films for independant productions, trailers and videos games. With this he learned the art of melodies,harmonies and hooks, all of which are essential to trance. He applied this knowledge with almost instant results, although Darren didn?t have the skills on the mixing desk to bring his music to life. He knew he had the talent, and the potential to become a good producer. He then began his own personal mission to learn and master the controls, knobs and sliders in the studio and to truly learn how to release every ounce of energy held within his music.Over the years Darren has entered and won many producer and remix competitions with ease , including winning the Dave Pearce producer competition twice. Darren was also shortlisted as a potential winner with his entry into the Trance Energy anthem remix competition Sander Van Doorn - Renengade. He has worked with many producers, and has been signed to numerous labels with support from some of the worlds biggest dj's, with him lately catching the attention of the likes of Sean Tyas and Tom Colontonio, with Sean Tyas naming one of his latest tracks ?Daytona? as track of the week on Tytanium Sessions. Darren will continue to produce his signature style of uplifting, hard driving and euphoric trance. |
