Till the mid 90s Christian Michael's style was mainly classic Techno when slowly, more melodic and trancy stuff became popular. For Christian this new sound didn't feel 100 percent right: "The trance stuff that came up for me meant a clash with classic techno, because it was so happy, somehow too happy, lacking seriousness and honesty, it just felt so mainstream. In this time I drifted towards Electro wave music, where I rediscovered a dark spirit and strong pushing beats". Around 2000 he was organizing techno parties and in this context started djing. The following years he could observe the progress and birth of new styles, and was attracted mostly by techhousy stuff. But he doesn't want to be pigeonholed, so listen to his stuff and get your own picture.
