A.Mochi emerged from Tokyo's underground music scene around 2003 as a live act and DJ through performances at clubs such as the legendary Maniac Love, and began releasing music on labels like Canada's Hardsignal in 2006. His druggy, deep bass and high-density, fat techno sound quickly started to attract attention, and his extensive releases in 2007 on well-recognized labels including UK techno pioneer Luke Slater's Mote-Evolver, Germany's Kumo and Britain's Tremors successfully raised his profile in countries around Europe. |
