x-ped!te is a project of 4 producers in Frankfurt/Main in the middle of Germany.
In the beginning the name of the project was Freemind. But they had to change the
name after they got informed that it was already taken. Now the projects name is
x-ped!te.
The Members of the project are Beatizer, Suab-San, Mary-K and Feyer. They started the
project in 2006 when they got known each other by mere chance! All of them had to
do with music before and decided to work together for the future. Seref is the main
music producer, Suab-San writes most of the lyrics and is the male voice of the
project and also brings in his ideas how to get more uniquness into the sound.
Mary-K is the female voice and writes most of her lyrics.
Klemens is also a music producer who consults a lot of how a song can be build up.
In the past years x-ped!te did a lot remixes for artists like Oggie - a singer from
UK. The Remix of "What I´m looking for" a song by Oggie and Davinah will be on Oggies
upcoming album. Suab-San lent his voice for projects from producers of Serbia.
The songs "Eine kleine dick Madam", "One Night In Prague" and "It hurts" of Fyono and
also Andrea Z have Suab-Sans voice in his song "Talking to". "It hurts" by Fyono has
a sample of Mary-K voice in it.
The sound of x-ped!te is unique and always a surprise. They are able to produce Pop
that sounds like a reprise of the late 80s then the next song is a Club breaker. They
also use Trance-parts in their house music what is very uncommon but in the end even
this expierience sounds great. So it is hard to pigeonhole x-ped!te to a special kind
of sound.
