a long time party goer, WENDALL made the transition to the decks in '97. starting out in his hometown of SEATTLE. Quickly he had the opportunity to play with some of his long time local favorites...DJ SUBCONSCIOUS, JON LEE, DONALD GLAUDE, ROMAN...to name a few as well as hosting parties....BIONIC, HYPERBLUPHONICCHRONICALS 1-4, & TECHLOGIC. while also getting some air time on the worldwide web original mix show GROOVETCH. soon after spending a few weeks in NYC, he decided that he needed to move there to get a better scope on TECHNO & DANCE MUSIC culture an d further himself as a DJ. NYC was perfect!!!! just as he had moved there international dj CHRISTIAN SMITH had just started throwing his TRONIC TREATMENT parties bringing in everyone from MISTRESS BARBARA, RINO CERRONE, MARCO CAROLA, ADAM BEYER, JOHN SELWAY, RITCHIE HAWTIN and many other big hitters to local favorites like DAVID HOLLANDS, PJAY, FUNCTION, KAZU, AGENT ORANGE & eventually WENDALL. in this time he ran into SIMON HOUSER and they HIT IT off immediately. both with the bug to start PRODUCING. soon WENDALL would start ANADAMIDE RECORDS. with moderate success he was able to land big time producer ADAM JAY SOUTHERLAND for a remix, but timing & distribution we not on his side. thankfully they were limitedly released. he spent 2 years working @ VINYL MARKET RECORD STORE on the lower east side. with them he was a resident for their TECHNONYC PARTIES while also throwing his own w/ SIMON HOUSER called BLISS @ the infamous IDLEWILD bar on houston st. WENDALL also had the great fortune of playing parties for NYEX, NEODAY & KIND KIDS radio. through all of this WENDALL handed out mix cd's by the hundreds trying to increase his fan base. then one day he got a call asking him if he'd like to go to VENEZUELA and play a few parties...of coarse!!!!! along w/ DJ JON FERARRI, STEVE MENEDEZ he was also able to enlist SIMON HOUSER, to go down and throw down. there they got a chance to play w/ VENEZ. favorite DJ YAYO. who later brought WENDALL down again to play some show the following year along side some international talent from SPAIN & FRANCE! a few later WENDALL made the move back home to SEATTLE to take what he had learned in NYC in hopes to help the scene grow. a year later SIMON HOUSER followed and the 2 of them started playing out & producing as the AURORA DIVING CLUB. they been holding down residencies @ SEATTLE hot spot SEESOUND LOUNGE since day one, the W HOTEL w/ DJ MB, KURRENT, and VEIL. this has led them to guest spots on the sat. electronic showcase radio THE VORTEX C89.5FM hosted by DREW BAILEY & NAMI, legendary afterhours in VANCOUVER B.C. GORG-O-MISH, & work w/ the A.I.D.S. benefit group D.I.F.F.A., to help bring awareness and contributions to the community. as far as producing goes time has been focused on making the AURORA DIVING CLUB a global sound and the resurrection of ANADAMIDE RECORDS back to the market...the future is looking promising w/ plans to travel and play around the world in sight!!!!!!
