The Rocket Scientist music is described as futuristic techno. During his live sets, tRS creates a unique experience for the listeners. His deep and dark music works perfectly with underground and rough venues giving them another dimension. His first EP was released in 2007 for no longer existing The Family Records (Italy). Together with his sister, Sylwia van der Wonderland, they got signed up for Fenou, a record label run by Niklas Worgt aka Dapayk. They are expecting their first release on 10? vinyl in January 2012. Rob has just finished studying Sound Arts and Design at University of Arts London. During that time he worked on varied projects that involved sound, including sound for moving image (films and animations), spacial sound and sound installations. In June 2011, his sound installation called ?The Secret Space? that explored a connection between sound, image and human consciousness was exhibited during Container exhibition in Elephant and Castle, London. Rob has also worked as a sound designer for numerous short and feature films. Director of the feature film ?The Grind? starring Jamie Foreman was so impressed with Rob?s music that he decided to include eight of his tracks in the film. Once the director realised Rob was studying sound design, he also asked him to edit and mix the whole film. It will be released in the UK cinemas in 2012. Rob is also involved in working with London Fields Radio, a local station with global appeal, catering for the creative community of the area.
