| Sergio Lopes - Slop lives in São Paulo, Brazil. He is dedicated to the
production of electronic music influenced mostly by the german school
and attended the first class devoted exclusively to electronic music at the
prestigious Institute of Audio and Video (I.A.V.) in São Paulo.
Since then, the
I.A.V. has made great progress in its production techniques and its research
into digital sound. With precise and refined taste and a great knowledge of
oldschool influences, he is helping to deepen the roots of electronic music.
Using vibrant sounds of low frequency in his own tracks and in remixes,
the dance-focused sound of Slop is always contagious. He provides the
soundtrack for the video art of contemporary Brazilian artists such as
Felipe Yung, Herbert Baglione, Thais Beltrame, and Sesper.
With standout
tracks among such talent, Slop also plays more experimental music under
the names MKT KRASH and JOE 90.
He also participated in the Nokia
Cine Mobile/25th Nike Dunk Party with a video under the copyright of
Sesper. |
