| NoToMash is young Dj and producer from Warsaw. At the beginning of musical education ? huge fan of french and funky house beats presented by artists such Roger Sanchez or Thomas Bangalter.
After listening to dj set of Marika he felt in love progressive sounds. Despite the respect for his musical roots he felt the need for change. A breakthrough moment were workshops organized in Piekarnia, where he met many fantastic people from music industry, learnt a bit how to mix and what?s most important he confirmed there himself that he can?t leave that passion under no circumstances.
Simultaneously he began do produce his own tunes. The character of the created songs changed along with music he listened to. At the beginning it was fresh and light house now its getting more twisted and hard. Few months later thanks to his music he reached final 5 in Coke Live Fresh Noise contest, where he had an occasion to present himself before Smolik (one of the best polish music producers) and Boogie Mafia (also well known dj team). Almost two years later, after hard working months of self improvements he won a remix contest for Martin Solveig. His remix of one, 2, 3 four ? described as electro house (despite it wasn?t pure NoToMash style), reach top 10 most downloaded tunes of french famous producer. Encouraged with this success he came back with more power and fresh ideas.
His productions were noticed by members of Fructi.org ? one of the greatest music agencies in Poland, in result in 2010 he had occasion to play his set in most of well known clubs in Warsaw and Prozac in Cracov his set could be also heard in national Polish Radio Euro. NoToMash oscillates between progressive, tech-house, minimal and sometimes breakbeat and electro. Common here is pumping energy, ethnic themes combined with some breakbeats.
2010 is also a year of many musical projects. He began cooperating with label Intermission where he released his debut ?Dub Poetry EP?. NoToMash is also a winner of remix contest competition for well known Ricky Ambilotti?s minimal banger, ?Construkt?. Two next EP?s on mentioned above are on the way and couple of remixes also. In production NoToMash is still searching for his unique style. He gave up almost everything to spent more time on music. He?s still trying to learn more about technique, create better melodies and surprise more with fresh ideas.
