Marina Borodina was born in Kazakhstan but now currently
resides in Germany where she continued to write and perform songs in
Russian, German, and occasionally English. She and Maximus (arranger / composer) have recorded 3 solo albums "Strannie Mechty", "Tysiachi Ognej" and "Mne Horosho". She has additionally performed in various clubs and billed together with popular Russian, German, and other international touring artists.

Outside of pop music, Marina has always been interested other musical styles such as a jazz and opera. This has leaded her to being chosen as soloist for jazz chorus and sacral music as a coloratura soprano.Marina Borodina had first declared herself in hardcore techno initially as a singer under the Mary B alias. Her compositions, including underground hit "Revolt Your Mind" that was produced together with the Angry Tolerance. Interested in harder styles of dance music, Marina began writing her own brand of hardcore. Thus was born "The Illusion of Rescue". It is today the first known international hardcore techno track where the vocal was recorded in 3 languages: Russian, Italian and English! Today Marina continue to show her bold experimentation with different styles of music to blur the boundaries between musical genres.
