Gennaro Merola aka Jen Shutton www.myspace.com/jenshuttondj was born in the great Italian city of Naples in 1984. His passion for music began at 15 years old. Attracted by the Neapolitan and Swedish techno influences as well as exploring the variety of techno styles produced in Germany, he quickly felt that producing and djing would have been his lifestyle and lifetime choice. He graduated at 20 years old and only after completing his qualifications he decided to take his beloved hobby to another level making it his professional career. In 2010 he started cranking out his first productions, which were quickly noticed and contracted by a variety of American and European labels, that shortly after released his material. Jen is currently releasing on Benny Records, Trackord Records, Traxacid, Polluted Records, Incense Records, Fierce Animal Recording and Urbanized.
In 2011, produces Scorpion Attack EP on UK label Polluted Rec,a release of 3 tracks really crap and signs other two contracts for two new EP on 2 labels : the English BRM Electro Records and the German Benny Records.He continues with passion and love in the search of new and unusual sound to fuse in his new productions, which ranges from techno to minimal techno, trying to show the quality and difference in his imprints. His motto is ?TIME FOR TECHNO!? a sentence for real clubbers only!
