Born in Pitesti, Romania, George Badea aka Fobee has been producing music since he was 17 years old as bass player and front man for a rock band (Kapela) and then after he moved to Vancouver in 1998 he discovered the industrial and DNB scene and he fell in love with the electronic music.
In 2006 he started to make his own tracks and on 22 October 2007 he signed his first release under the name Xpoint EP ? VVD 002 (Xpoint /Electrik 2.0 / Snapshot) on Vise Versa Music (GR) followed by a series of remixes
In April 2008 Fobee?s remix of Aston Martinez?s Seduction won second place in the I-dance.com competition opening new doors for collaborations with djs and producers from all over the world
Fobee is a producer who continues to push the musical boundaries of a scene he is truly passionate about ? playing and producing cutting edge electronic music, pioneering his own distinctive sound.
