El Mariachi (Yaroslav Gnatchenko), electronic music producer and DJ. Was born in 1986 in Kharkov, Ukraine. He started interest in electronic music came in the late nineties fad known electronic musicians and bands such as The Prodigy, Fatboy Slim, Chemical Brothers, The Chrystal Method and others. Electronic music attracted him most because of its diversity of sounds, instruments, effects. In this music has no boundaries, rules and restrictions. You can mix a heavy electronic rhythm with ethnic instruments, classical instruments with different noise, techno music with rock music. It is all these things led to begin his musical career. It all started in 2003, when El Mariachi began taking guitar lessons, self-learning process of creating music with a computer, VST-plugins and other devices. In 2009, he collects a small home studio and gets to work. The results were immediate. In the same year, a series of debut releases on various labels worldwide. El Mariachi works in various genres of electronic music: techno, house, tech house, progressive house, deep techno, funky techno and others. The process of creating his music is usually spontaneous; you never know what sound will result. But each time it is something new, something unlike the previous work. In addition to the music production, he is interested in and DJing. El Mariachi respects the culture of vinyl, as well as modern developments in the field of DJing. MIDI controllers and software such as Ableton, provide enormous opportunities for live performance for musicians. El Mariachi always happy to any cooperation with musicians and record labels, is interested in making remixes, radio shows, etc.
