Artist Dj Overlead

Roberto S. aka Dj Overlead was born in Venice on 29 september 1972. When he was 17 years old he's been fascinated by the first techno sound, coming from Northern Europe. He started to buy records and to propose hinself in the local clubs around Venice.

In the beginning of 90's he felt the need to be closer to the events that characterize the evolution of techno sound in Europe and he spent several months in Holland. In Rotterdam he has been involved by a new kind of music, the "Hardcore", which was sprending in all the local clubs.

To increase his hardcore's experience a travelled through many european countries (Germany, Belgium, Denmark) following the most important hardcore's djs tour dates.

Back in Italy in 1995 he collaborated to the techno production "Djs Robsten", containing three tracks (Enter Choice, Rotterdam Terminator, Live in Night-Town), that has had a good success. With the name Dj Force he worked in some clubs around Northern Italy (Heaven, Fabbrika, Paiper and many others).
In 2009 he met Alphard ( a rock guitarist) and together they decided to overturned their musical preferences, working to a new trance project.

In 2010, with two innovative tracks ("Above the Threshold" and "Sideral People") the group became Cosmic-Source, but this collaboration lasted only a few months.

In November and december 2010 Dj Overlead is still very active and he realizes two new mini EP: "Not of this world" and "Violence of nature".

In January 2011 he realizes a single "The melody of my soul" and in February 2011 he realizes a new hardtrance production "Thinking Above the Future" available on the most important digital music stores.

In March 5, 2011 Dj Overlead realizes a new mini EP "The Voice of the Universe", "Thinking Above the Future (Essential Mix)" is also included.

In March 28, 2011 he realizes a new single track "Spatial Frequencies", an essential mix (classical and trance), the caracteristic sound by Dj Overlead.

In May 31, 2011 he realizes the first hard traxx "CONTACT", techno and hardcore frequencies together on single mix. Now he's working on new special hardtrance and hardtechno tracks, available soon!
