| At 25, Fabio Honorio de Jesus aka Chap has emerged as one of the main dj's & producers of drum and bass and dubstep from Brazil.
Dj Chap grew up influenced by rock'n'roll and reggae music. In adolescence was drummer hardcore bands and alternative rock in the ABC Paulista in 2005 and met the world of DJing and music production.
As a drummer has always been interested by the pace of broken beats and soon became familiar with the jungle and drum and bass, incorporating his experience with organic music for his work as a producer of electronic music.
Proof of this is its sensitivity to capture samples of jazz, soul, reggae, r & b and creativity unite with the full weight beats and groove. These beats that have earned recognition and partnerships with national and international producers and releases signed by the labels BMR, Tupy Recordings Vibration Recs, All Streets & Innergound.
His music has been performed by the likes of Bailey, Fabio, Grooverider and Crissy Criss on BBC London (Radio1 & 1Xtra), JJ Frost and Bryan G (V Recs. UK) portals in DNB Arena & Ministry of Sound, LTJ Bukem (GLO recs. UK), and beyond international support also obtained by renowned Brazilian DJs Marky & Patife. |
