| Cortechs is a duo consisting of Markus Schwalb and Frank Christmann, who know each other since 2002. They have both been making music since that time and there has always been a great exchange about music between them, although they didn't always produce as a duo.
As Frank followed Markus to Cologne in 2009, they immediately started producing tracks together and formed the project "Cortechs" in December.
They are using 2 synchronized laptops both running Ableton Live, a setup, which allows them to produce their music intuitively and perform it live. The concept is to create tracks with a clear dancefloor focus.
Having worked on several tracks, they are in contact with a few labels and as things seem to turn out good for them in the new year, you can expect more of them in the near future. |
