| Cooky is thirty-four years old, and had quite an adventure life. Much of his childhood was spent in Nigeria dancing to Depech Mode, Fela Kuti and Fat Boys. At the age of nine, he won his first prize at a break-dance competition and his mentor also dicovered his drawing talent.
Since the age of ten years he's been living in Switzerland, where he entred the world of electronic music and started to make organic electronic music since 2007 and preformed as live-act under the pseudonym 'Cooky dsn'.
Cooky is also a member of the duo 'Kreis Zwei' that won the Demotape Clinic Award 2009 in Switzerland in the catogery Electroic Music.
In 2011 Cooky released under the pseudonym 'Otoridia' his first debut mini-album, En Teil Vo Mir, via DSN Musik label a jazz-, funk-, electro- and soul-tinged production. Otoridia is a singer, his songs exlpores different moods, tempos and styles. We imagine that we'll be hearing lots more from Otoridia in the years to come. |
