| Bryant Coward III aka. Blessed Child was born in Washington North Carolina
on January 4th ,1978. He was raised in a very christian religious family. That?s
why he got involved in gospel activities in an early age where he made his first
musical steps. BC?s parents didn?t allow him to listen to hip hop music but
because of being raised on the streets of North Carolina there was no way
around this and BC found music as his way to express himself.
In 1996 he had his first chance, in which he participated in a high school song contest, organized from no other than the no.1 Rap label; from the east coast; Bad Boy Records. Many groups participated,but at the end Bryant found himself being approached with a chance to go to New York with a chance to get deeper involved in what he truely loved,Music.The chance never came because of differences with friends, family, problems at home and on the streets,but that didn?t stop him from doing his school work and he graduated from high school in 1996.After high school there were not many chances for the future.
No money,no job, problems with the family and the police. Racism was another problem that BC had to deal with,but BC kept his pace and decided to go in the army and joined in 1996. That was the reason why he came to Germany in 1997, where he was active as an infantry soldier and served several months in Bosnia. He continued to search for his love for music even through his time in the army but still found himself always in the sight of trouble.He served his last year of service in the army in texas and after BC got out of the US Army,he headed back to germany in which he continued to explore life and the music world ,and started working with varoius artist that were active in the music scene all around Germany.No matter if it was a show, callaboration, writing or singing choruses,bc worked with varoius artist and producers with exciting outcomes.
In 2002,BC found himself on tour in germany and in the Netherlands as back up group for the outlawz, crew from Tupac.The tour was a blast and this was a great moviation to continue to do what he loved .
In 2006 BC released an album called ?Bringin Drama? with a independent music label called rapkilla records which was released in stores in Germany.BC had an option to release four albums,but due to differences the deal was cancelled and BC continued to adventure his love for music whether big or small.Trials and test continued to test BC´s life, but in 2008 BC realeased his second album called 1 Life 2 Live and continued to spread his style in singing and writing.He attracted fans and with every step felt closer and closer to a no lose future and a happy ending.
BC is now preparing new projects with his crew and is in no way willing to ever stop doing music. Stay tuned to what comes next ,and in the immortal words of Blessed child,??Let´s Ride???!!!!! |
