Andy Mac started DJing just after the peak of the acid house explosion in 1991. Playing Hardcore then Drum and Bass/Jungle through its hey-day Andy learnt to mix and blend at a young age. Andy found a love for House music some years later and became a heavy supporter of the Progressive House scene. Andy held down a residency at the infamous Chertsey Lock in Surrey for a couple of years playing alongside Farley and Heller and Smokin Jo. Progressive House had lots of great breakbeat music coming into it combined with some of that early Hardcore energy, Andy was immediately hooked. He has held down one of the longest FM Breakbeat radio shows in London (www.pointblank.fm)for 16 years. Andy continues his support with the music he loves through his label, Embeats.
