TC Studio represents the future of Bucharest and Romania, and Strictly Chosen are proud to present a wonderful 12" sure to make waves. Opotizie is a minimalistic (not minimal) roller, that hums and trots along like a snake charmer. The hypnotizing effect wouldn't be possible without the musical ideas that keeps the track rolling. The polyrhythmic percussion is wonderfully juxtaposed to the dub groove. This nod to dub music is expanded on "Trick", where the reverb literally expands the space. It's almost cavernous, and certainly a B-side that not only works as a distorted image reflection of the A-side, but also a great trick up any DJ-s sleeve. Imagine a dark room..."
