For this 2nd release, we give you the opportunity to grab 5 fantastic trax done by Nicholas’ new incarnation as SOUL SYSTEMThe brains behind the NO MORE HITS imprint is back with one of his biggest 12 inch to date !
The EP opens with “NEVER GONNA BE THE SAME”, an exquisitely produced track, full of depth, it’s a melting pot full of sultry vocals, soulful disco samples and an irresistible groove. On A2, we get the wonderfull & lushy
“KEEP ON GIVING”, it sounds to us like a 90’s lost deep house classic workout with crisp kicks and pulsing synths & bass. And then on A3 “SOUL BEATS” is an old shool 90’s house nugget too that result in guaranteed dancefloor mayhem ! B1 comes up with one of the best track he’s ever done to us “(Theme from) SOUL SYSTEM”, think proto - techno, man parrish, it sounds like an hybrid between hip – hop & electro, KILLER ! And to end on B2, we are again back in the 90’s. “EVERYTHING MUST CHANGE” moves the body on a deeper level with chugging some solid house grooves & some syncopated beats.
For anyone who likes deep, analogue synth heavy groove, moodymann, theo parrish , MCDE, this EP is clearly for you.
