Insist Music’s second release is a fancy triple: Side A presents Sascha Sonido’s track “Tanzania", remixed by Patrick Kunkel and Dirk Redmer. The founders of Insist Music decided to publish their remix prominently and doing so was a wise decision: Their interpretation of “Tanzania” is some kind of real-deal club music that tracks the borderlines of house, garage and techno, paired with a smacking House groove, playful chords and spooky-soulful vocal effects. Sascha Sonido - DJ, labelowner, producer and booker: The young gun already released cheerful EP’s and Singles on well known labels like Kling Klong, Trapez, Flash, Natural Rythm and Plasic City. On Insist Music’s new release he presents a collaboration with Swiss Djane and producer Angelica Fravi. These two good friends offer up a pair of brilliantly house tracks: “Tanzania” and “Koh Samui” - presented on Side B of Insist 002. In both tracks soulful voice matches beats and synths perfectly, taking the dancefloors to a higher level. The second track in Side B, “Koh Samui” takes a more understated, melancholic turn, counterbalancing the ecstatic nature and especially the even more ecstatic interpretation on Side A by Patrick and Dirk, with even more cool groove and very soulful vocals, of “Tanzania".
