Four remixes merge the profound character of the recent Douglas Greed album "KLR" into the groove of hand-picked producers. By doing so, this anyway remarkable complex work is even enhanced in terms of rousing atmospheres and variation. Rundfunk3000 re-design the experimental "Shiver" using their uplifting beats and warm instrumentations, which makes the title very catchy and danceable without losing the wonderful dreamy voice of singer Delhia. Also the sentimental vocal from "Pain" remains a central element in Acid Pauli's version of the track, but he cunningly manages to balance its mood with a percussive Cumbia rhythm and its cheerful South American soul. Whereas Mollono.Bass takes the emotional power of that voice to create a driving and hypnotic dance floor interpretation, even escalating into chirping Acid quotes at the end. Finally there is an acoustic song version of "Morning Gloria" from the studio of Mooryc, an atmospheric distillate of the original's sensual-contemplative atmosphere.
