Native Berliner Eva Be is a DJ since the age of 18 and produces her own music since 1999 (including releases for Sonar Kollektiv, Best Works, Zaubermilch Records, Compost Records and Poesie Musik). During the last years, the first lady of dub, house and techno (as she is known in her hometown) also released various remixes for other artists. In the summer of 2012 she got to know the very talented vocalist Ben Ivory and delivered an impressive remix of Ben's "Better Love" (which topped the dance charts later that year) followed by a live performance at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. The success of this collaboration led to the decision to intensify their musical partnership. One and a half years of studio work later, this exciting collaboration is now bearing the first fruits, as they published their first EP together called "Closer", on the Berlin based label Poesie Musik, including remixes by Ruede Hagelstein, Kasar, Steve Hope and Washing Machine, followed now by the EP "No Love" on Zaubermilch Records.
