For their tenth release, Kolorit Records' artists joined together to make it a real family EP. To showcase the artists and their personal flavors and tastes, Kolorit comes up with 'Kolektiv Eins' - the kickoff for a series of present-state label-business. Crek - DJ/Producer from Berlin opens up with his oldschoolish house sound without any compromise - filled with tons of funk that makes the crowd float over the floor. Being everybody's darling when it comes to music, he always maintains his individual handwriting in his production. Crek also releases his tunes on Variante Music, Disclosure Project and others. The two Dusseldorf producers and DJs Jorge Takei, a part of JTRP (Deep Teknologi Records, London), and Kolorit Records founder Thomas Sonora teamed up on this release. 'Out On A Limb' comes slow and dark at first, before building up to a pushing Deep House roller. Plus? it has a flute… Franck Valat from Paris is widely known for his techno and tech-house productions on Schoene Musik, Eminor, Dual Musik, FlatBelly and other imprints. On Kolorit he shows his more relaxed side with perfectly produced Deep House of the minimalistic type. Breaked up beats open up to a bed of harmonic pads and piano sounds. Label newcomer Roy Orbit follows with 'Sambuca' and brings a supernice House tune to the release. Classic Deep House elements meet a great percussive work bedded on a classy baseline. 'Sunset' comes from an uprising duo from Denmark: Mr. Leman (Deep Nota Records, Six Sound Records, Kolorit) and Thomas Dieckmann (Deso Records, Kitschy Records) are closing the EP with a real crowdpleaser. Melodic beauty and summer vibes accompanied by a handsup-vocal that brings butterflies to your belly.
